Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Madrasah Teacher Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate professional development programs specifically tailored for educators in the Madrasah education system, including Ebtedayee, Dakhil, and Alim levels. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between traditional Islamic teaching methods and modern, interactive, and student-centered learning practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training modules focused on foundational teaching skills, classroom management, and student engagement for Madrasah educators.

• Conduct in-person and online workshops across various regions, focusing on the integration of National Curriculum and Textbook Board (NCTB) guidelines alongside the Madrasah Education Board curriculum.

• Create practical lesson plans, assessment tools, and teaching resources that respect religious sensitivities while promoting active learning.

• Provide continuous mentorship and constructive feedback to participating teachers to ensure the practical application of training concepts.

• Collaborate with Islamic scholars and education experts to update training frameworks and integrate technology into traditional Madrasah classrooms.

• Monitor training outcomes and prepare detailed impact evaluation reports for ongoing program improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in Education, Islamic Studies, or a relevant academic discipline, a Kamil or Fazil degree is highly preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of practical teaching experience within the Bangladesh Madrasah education system.

• Proven track record in facilitating teacher training, workshops, or professional educator development programs.

• Deep understanding of the Madrasah Education Board curriculum, student assessment strategies, and the specific challenges faced by Madrasah educators.

• Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills in Bengali, Arabic, and English.

Preferred Skills & Methodologies

• Familiarity with structured instructional design frameworks adapted for dual-track religious and general education.

• Practical experience in modernizing pedagogy for general subjects like Mathematics, Science, and English within a Madrasah context.

• Strong foundation in Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) principles.

• Proficiency in adapting and integrating educational technology into Madrasah learning environments.
