TVET Teacher Trainer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic TVET Teacher Trainer to join our team. In this role, you will design, deliver, and evaluate professional development programs specifically tailored for instructors and trainers in polytechnic institutes, technical schools, and vocational training centers. You will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between theoretical instruction and practical, industry-aligned skill development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver comprehensive training modules focused on foundational vocational teaching skills, workshop safety, and trainee engagement.

• Conduct in-person and online workshops across various regions, focusing on the integration of Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) and National Skills Development Authority (NSDA) guidelines.

• Create practical session plans, competency-based assessment tools, and training resources that align with current industry standards.

• Provide continuous mentorship and constructive feedback to participating instructors to ensure the practical application of hands-on training methodologies.

• Collaborate with industry experts and sector skills councils to update training frameworks and integrate modern tools into vocational classrooms.

• Monitor training outcomes and prepare detailed impact evaluation reports for ongoing program improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Technical Education, Engineering, or a relevant industrial discipline.

• Must hold a Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBT&A) Level 4 or/and Level 5 certification.

• Minimum of 5 years of practical teaching or industry training experience within the Bangladesh TVET system.

• Proven track record in facilitating trainer development, workshops, or professional instructor development programs.

• Deep understanding of the National Technical and Vocational Qualifications Framework (NTVQF), student assessment strategies, and the specific challenges faced by vocational institutes.

• Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills in both Bengali and English.

Preferred Skills & Methodologies

• Familiarity with structured instructional design frameworks adapted for technical and practical skills learning.

• Experience establishing industry-institute linkages to enhance the practical relevance of training and employability of graduates.

• Proficiency in adapting and integrating industrial technology, digital simulators, and modern equipment into vocational training environments.
